How do I create an account for Dareshift?
Click the “Create An Account” button on our contact page or the “My Account” tab in the main menu, fill in the required details for either a vendor/seller account or a customer account or both, and you’re all set to start buying and selling games.
What types of games can I find on Dareshift?
Our marketplace features a wide range of games designed for accessibility and inclusivity, catering to various skill levels and interests.
How do I upload my game to Dareshift?
Once you have a vendor account, go to the product tab on the left then click the orange “Add New Product” button on the top right, tehn fill in all required prompts on the submission form including your game content and assets, and submit for review.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure you check the downloadable box when uploading your game or else you won’t be able to upload your game’s files.
Is there support available for new developers?
Yes! We offer resources, tutorials, and a supportive community to help you get started and succeed in creating accessible games (resources coming soon!).
How can I provide feedback or report issues?
You can reach out to us through the “Contact Us” page or connect with other developers and gamers in our community forum to share feedback or report any issues.
Are there any fees for using Dareshift?
Creating an account and browsing the marketplace is free. Developers will be charged a commission rate of 15-25% though there aren’t any other upfront costs for developers or customers.
How do I ensure my game meets accessibility standards?
We are in the works of creating guidelines and resrouces to help you design and develop games that are accessible to all. We will post an annoucement on the home and blog pages for detailed informatio nand best practices.
For now, please ensure your game has at least one accessibility feature such as subtitles or colorblind modes and/or an inclusivity feature for new gamers that can include but not limited to interactive tutorials, player guides, etc. And feel free to contact us at any time for more questions!
